The
Central Government hereby transfers all the pending matters, proceedings or
cases of CLB to NCLT
Applicability:
To all companies
Crux of the
Notification:
As per
this notification, Central Government appoints the 1st day of June,
2016 to transfer all the pending matters, proceedings or cases of Company Law
Administration (Company Law Board) to the National Company Law Tribunal.
The
Tribunal shall dispose of the pending matters, proceedings or cases in
accordance with the provisions of Companies Act 2013 or the Companies Act 1956.

located at various places to exercise jurisdiction over certain areas.

The Ministry
hereby has:

Constituted the National Company Law Tribunal to
exercise and discharge its powers and functions as may be conferred on it by or
under the act with effect from June 1, 2016

Further, it has constituted the National Company Law
Appellate Tribunal for hearing the appeals against the orders of NCLT with
effect from June 1, 2016
